On 20 November 2019, the National Assembly of Vietnam adopted the Labor Code No. 45/2019/QH14 (“Labor Code 2019”). The New Labor Code will take effect from 1st January 2021.
The Labor Code 2019 revises and supplements several provisions of the current Labor Code. These changes are expected to have
a significant impact on enterprises and organizations that recruit labor in Vietnam.
